John MacKay
John was licensed in May of 1976 as a real estate salesperson and since that time he has obtained his FRI from the Real Estate Institute of Canada and his AACI from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He obtained his broker license in the mid-1990s and in 2001 he received the Distinguished Realtor Award presented by the Nova Scotia Association of Realtors. In 2002 he received the Business Person of the Year for Kings County.
John has served on many boards and committees of the real estate industry and the community, he currently serves on the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation, and served two terms as councilor for the Town of Wolfville and past President of the Wolfville Business Development Committee.
John enjoys real estate and finds it very rewarding to help both buyers and sellers with their real estate needs. John is one of the Managing Associate Brokers and owner of MacKay Real Estate and spends much of his day overseeing the office and staff, enjoying his grandchildren and a little golf.
